Christopher House is a catalyst for helping at-risk children from birth to age 18 thrive by taking a comprehensive approach to education and creating lifelong learners. Understanding that educating the child is not enough, we also provide supportive services to the entire family that help build stability and self-sufficiency. Our innovative, family-centered approach is critical to the well-being of the children and families we serve, expanding opportunities and having a positive, measurable impact on their ability to succeed. In a highly competitive process, the Illinios Capital Development Board awarded Christopher House with a $5 million grant toward the construction of our Belmont Cragin Family Resource Center.
Christopher House Elementary School will open in Belmont Cragin in fall 2013 with kindergarten and first grade.
Christopher House is currently in the midst of a capital campaign to build a new family resource center in the low-income, high-need community of Belmont Cragin, located on Chicago's west side.
